Bisexual rugby player and Celebrity X Factor star Levi Davis has been reported missing.
On 6 November, Bath Rugby took to their social media accounts and issued an appeal confirming the heartbreaking news.
According to a report from The Guardian, the young athlete was last seen at the Old Irish Pub in Barcelona, Spain, on 29 October.
Over the last few days, Davis’ family and friends have spoken out about his disappearance in various statements and social media posts.
“Levis’ family and I are very worried about him and desperate to know that he is ok,” said Davis’ mother, Julie, in an interview with The Irish Sun.
“Levi, please get in touch with us, or if anyone knows anything, please contact us.”
Former England Rugby star Ben Foden also expressed his worries to the news outlet: “I’m extremely concerned for Levi’s safety and well-being.
“He’s bravely shared with the public his personal struggles with his sexuality and mental health, and right now, it’s important he knows how loved he is and the support he has available.”
Lastly, Foden’s former England rugby teammate Tom Varndell echoed similar concerns in a tweet on 5 November.
“If anyone has seen or heard from Levi Davis in the last two weeks, could you please drop me a message asap,” he wrote.

According to the BBC, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office announced that they were “providing consular support” to Davis’ family.
While the 24-year-old is predominantly known for his successful rugby career, the Worthing RFC player has also made a name for himself in the reality TV world.
In 2019, he appeared on ITV’s Celebrity X Factor as one-third of the Try Stars. The following year he took part in the hit E4 show Celebs Go Dating.
Davis also made headlines when he came out as bisexual in an emotional 2020 interview with the Daily Mail.
His landmark coming out announcement made him the first professional rugby player to identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.
In the piece, he opened up about the anxiety he felt before breaking the news to his Bath Rugby teammates – which he did through WhatsApp.
“I had hidden it well, but I couldn’t keep it secret any longer. I had to tell them, all of them, not just a few,” he said.
Fortunately for Davis, he was met with instant support from his teammates, who commended him for his bravery.
“And then they began taking the piss in a good-natured way, which I was relieved about. If they had been too tender-hearted, I would have been worried. I’m still a rugby player, after all,” Davis explained.
