London, United Kingdom. 04 June 2021 – GAY TIMES announces GT133, a first of its kind group of eight young queer creatives. The ‘members’ of the group will act as the new faces of GAY TIMES on TikTok.

GT133 represents the next generation of queer talent. Harnessing the voices and unique insight of these emerging young creatives, primarily known for their ever-growing presence on TikTok, GAY TIMES is combining its global reach and trusted legacy to deliver a new era of original content to the next generation of GAY TIMES consumer through the creation of GT133.

The eight members of GT133 were handpicked after a nationwide search for their bold individuality, distinctive attitude, unwavering confidence and authentic talent. The members were chosen from over 7,000 applications to the group. They are based out of GAY TIMES’ London home at 133 Whitechapel High Street, but will be promoted and known globally.

Launching in Pride Month 2021, the members of GT133 will create exclusive content for GAY TIMES’ newly launched TikTok channel, and in turn GAY TIMES will guide and mentor the members with our unparalleled media expertise, connecting them with brands for authentic collaborations and campaigns, and presenting our members with exceptional content opportunities and unique experiences to further their blossoming careers with our unrivalled global reach.

GT133 demonstrates GAY TIMES continued mission to deliver reliable, trustworthy and high quality content developed with a high degree of nuanced understanding and perspective.

GAY TIMES has been on the frontline of the LGBTQ+ movement since 1984, reporting on the big issues, shining a spotlight on emerging queer talent, and amplifying voices from across their vibrant and diverse community. Through GT133, GAY TIMES is tapping into an important new audience – creating content made for the next generation of GAY TIMES by the new faces of GAY TIMES – GT133.

Since taking the helm of the iconic title, I have always believed that GAY TIMES should be democratised by handing the power of our platforms into the hands of community voices themselves.
