Evan Peters’ character in American Horror Story has finally been revealed.
It was recently revealed that series regulars Evan, Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates would be playing the lead roles in the upcoming eighth season of the hit anthology show, which has been sub-titled Apocalypse.
While we knew that Kathy would be playing a new character called Ms. Meade, and Sarah would be taking on a whopping three roles including Billie Dean Howard and Cordelia Goode, Evan’s roles had been kept under wraps – until now.
Taking to Instagram, show creator Ryan Murphy shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the fan favourite actor in character as Murder House’s Tate Langdon, alongside the caption: “Happy to be home.”

With Sarah Paulson and Taissa Farmiga confirmed to be playing multiple characters in the Apocalypse, we wouldn’t be surprised if Evan is also playing a new character – especially as he’s been confirmed as a lead.
It was recently revealed that fan favourite Jessica Lange, who made her last appearance on the show in season four (Freak Show), will be making her long-overdue comeback for Apocalypse as Constance Langdon, in an episode directed by Sarah Paulson.
Show creator Ryan Murphy has already confirmed that Apocalypse will be the much-rumoured crossover between season one (Murder House) and season three (Coven), so it makes sense for Jessica to return as Constance, who was last seen looking after anti-christ child Michael.
We also know some previously confirmed details about other cast members who’ll be returning, including series regulars Frances Conroy, Lily Rabe and Gabourey Sidibe, as well as Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter and Leslie Grossman.
They’ll be joined by Hollywood legend Joan Collins, who will make her American Horror Story debut as the “glamorous” grandmother to Evan’s character, who’s been described as a ‘comedic hair stylist’.
Jeffrey Bowyer Chapman (UnReal) and Kyle Allen (The Path) have also been cast as guest stars.
