The movie was also critically panned by critics.
The first film that Kevin Spacey has starred in since a host of sexual assault allegations came out about him made only $126 on its opening night, as well as being critically panned by critics.
The Billionaire Boys Club tells the story of Joe Hunt and a group of friends who attempt a get-rick-quick plan by using the Fonzi scheme. However, things start going bad for Hunt, and friend Tim Pitt when they end up murdering the investor and conman Ron Levin, played by Spacey.

The film has no critical consensus on Rotten Tomatoes, but based off of eight reviews, the film only holds a 13% approval rating.
Writing a review of the film for The Hollywood Reporter, John DeFore wrote that the film was a “derivative bore, all popped collars, douchey bros and hand-me-down psychology, that gets its characters up to their necks in borrowed money just long enough to have it really hurt when the accounts run dry.”
Kevin Spacey was supposed to have a role in All the Money in the World, but he was cut from the film six weeks before its release because of the allegations.
All of Spacey’s scenes were reshot with actor Christopher Plummer taking over the role. Explaining why, TriStar Pictures said: “There are over 800 other actors, writers, artists, craftspeople and crew who worked tirelessly and ethically on this film, some for years, including one of cinema’s master directors.”
“It would be a gross injustice to punish all of them for the wrongdoings of one supporting actor in the film.”
The Billionaire Boys Club also stars Ansel Elgort, Taron Egerton and Jeremy Irvine.
