Within the last year alone, the small screen has witnessed the birth of several acclaimed (and instantly iconic) queer-centred series, from the comedic college stylings of Overcompensating to the gripping sci-fi drama Pluribus and, of course, the pop culture juggernaut Heated Rivalry. While queer audiences have been hit with some unfair cancellations, such as BOOTS and Olympo, streamers and networks are seemingly showing no signs of showing down with new (and returning) LGBTQIA+ stories. As we hit the halfway point on 2026, we’re rounding up the remaining queer series that are expected to hit out screens in the near future.
