The Bay: Dahveed sets the record straight on his full frontal nude scene
Actor and singer Dahveed peels back the curtain on his full-frontal nude scene in the Prime Video web series The Bay.
The Bay star Dahveed has revealed the truth behind his thrilling nude scene.
Created by Gregori J. Martin, the long-running web soap series follows the "affluent, yet dysfunctional Bay City residents living in a town cursed by Red Garrett, an ominous senator who was murdered by his socialite granddaughter, Sarah Garrett."
The official synopsis adds: "Living in his shadow, Sara, her son Pete, and those around them face a series of dilemmas involving rape, blackmail, sordid lovers, and vindictive arch rivals. Their lives riddled with forbidden love, malicious lies, and never-ending scandals; the town's privileged tangle with those who confuse obsession for love, vengeance for justice, and power for success.
"In a town cursed by the spirit of a dead Senator, the Bay City residents fight for redemption, true love, and new beginnings in a town where murder, betrayal, heartbreak, and vengeance must be in the water."
Since its release in 2010, The Bay has garnered universal acclaim from viewers and critics, earning 23 Daytime Emmy awards and receiving 65 Daytime Emmy nominations.
While The Bay has had no issues captivating viewers over the last 15 years, its 10th season – which dropped in December 2025 – garnered particular attention due to Dahveed's character Isaac and his full frontal prison scene.
In a recent interview with Out, the openly bisexual actor answered the burning question on many viewers' minds: did he wear a prosthetic or go au natural for the intense scene?
"No prosthetic. I brought my own equipment," he confirmed. "It felt like a love letter to my body. I haven't always been comfortable in my skin. Especially online, it can feel like we're constantly being ranked by how desirable we are."
Dahveed went on to describe his nude scene as "empowering", adding that he hasn't seen a body like his represented on screen.
"I wanted to show up without treating my body as something I needed to fix first. I'm Latino, hairy, tattooed, and uncircumcised... getting to bring mine to a mainstream audience, exactly as it is, felt empowering. This is me: uncut, unfiltered, and comfortable in my own skin," he continued.
The Bay features a stacked cast including: Kristos Andrews as Peter Garrett & Adam Kenway, Dante Alexksander as Xander Castro, Réal Andrews as Dr Keith Campbell, Brandon Beemer as D.A Evan Blackwell, Michael Copon as Colton Kurosaki, Olivia D'Abo as Felicia 'Fifi' Garrett–Martin, Najee De-Tiege as RJ Garrett-Foster, Mary Beth Evans as Sara Garrett, and Celest Fianna as Tamara Garrett.
More star power incoming: Mike Manning as Caleb McKinnon, A Martínez as Det. Nardo Ramos, Carlo Mendez as Benji Ramos, Eric Nelsen as Daniel Garrett, Kiara Liz Ortega as Andrea 'Dre' Collins, James Preston as Nick Myers, Breana Raquel as Jazmine 'Jazzy' Givens and Tristan Rogers as Comm.
