Fans have praised Girls Aloud for their heartwarming tributes to the late Sarah Harding.

Back in November 2023, the pop giants announced that they were going back on the road with The Girls Aloud Show arena tour.

In an interview with British Vogue, the foursome teased that the show would be a celebration of their discography and a tribute to the late, self-described “wild child” Harding, who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2021.

“Listen: it’s gonna be unreal. And it’s gonna be the nostalgia of your life,” Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts gushed to the news outlet at the time.

After months of anticipation, the beloved girl group made their epic return on 17 May at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Splitting the show into three acts, fans were treated to a dazzling evening full of sickening choreography, stunning outfits, and 20 songs from the foursome’s legendary music catalogue.

As promised, the legendary talents delivered several heartwarming tributes to Harding, incorporating her memory throughout the entirety of the show.

During their opening performance of ‘Untouchable’, photos of the late singer were projected onto large screens while they belted out the lyrics on tall podiums.

Harding’s memory was also honoured during the group’s live renditions of ‘Whole Lotta History,’ ‘I’ll Stand By You,’ and ‘The Promise’ – with the last two numbers featuring videos of the late talent singing her parts.

“Standing feeling all of the emotions you’re feeling. I hope you know it means as much as it means to you,” Kimberley tearfully told the crowd during ‘Whole Lotta History.’

Cheryl echoed similar sentiments: “Thank you for your support through everything we went through with Sarah. It’s hard to believe, but it’s such a beautiful thing to be on the stage with these ladies again.”

It didn’t take long for fans to flock to social media to praise the ladies for their unforgettable performances and heartwrenching tributes to Harding.

#TheGirlsAloudShow is one the most iconic things in pop culture this year. All those classic bangers in one show, the heartfelt tributes for Sarah exquisitely executed, Nadine and Cheryl being closer than ever. Those girls are definitely the leaders of the pack,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
