Jack Innanen has addressed turning down a role in Heated Rivalry season two.

Over the last few months, the Canadian talent has been an open book about his desire to join the critically acclaimed and award-winning MLM hockey romance series.

In April, Innanen told Entertainment Weekly that he would be the "perfect" addition to Heated Rivalry "because I am down for anything, and I played hockey!"

"I got some mini sticks, I've been practicing, I've been working on my stick handling," he said/joked. "I've been working on my hip mobility."

When asked whether he'd heard from showrunner Jacob Tierney or stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, who respectivley play Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander, Innanen said he'd "had some conversations."

However, on 10 June, a source revealed to EW that Innanen was offered a role in the Heated Rivalry season two but was forced to turn it down due to scheduling conflicts. "No further specifics are confirmed at this time," the publication reported.

Now, the social media star has finally addressed the recent casting news while attending the Adults season two premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
