Rob Jetten has announced a new initiative to improve LGBTQIA+ safety in the Netherlands.
On 5 August, the Dutch Prime Minister helped kick off the 2026 WorldPride Human Rights Conference in Amsterdam. The three-day event focuses on "connecting and inspiring people in the fight for equal rights."
During his speech, Jetten unveiled the Dutch government's plan to invest €7.5 million annually over the next three years to improve the safety of the country's queer community.
