Jenny Shimizu has spilt some major tea about her past relationship with pop icon Madonna.
Back in the 90s, the 57-year-old talent made major waves in the fashion sphere, working as an in-demand model for the likes of Calvin Klein and Banana Republic.
In addition to turning looks for big-name fashion brands and becoming the first Asian model to walk for Prada, Shimizu also turned heads for her thriving love life with some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars, such as Madonna.
During the sixth episode of the Hulu series In Vogue: The 90s, the Dante’s Cove star shared all the juicy details about her larger-than-life and international love affair with the Queen of Pop.
“I mean, you’re not gonna say no to Madonna in the 90s. Not only was it great feeling like a high-class hooker – because it really was – you’d get a phone call like, ‘Hey, can you meet me at my Parish show? You’re in Europe, right?'” she revealed.
“So, I’d be like, ‘Yeah, I’m just finishing Prada. Right after Prada, I’ll catch a plane over.’ And I would. I’d go over to her hotel, to the Ritz, at like 4 in the morning, having sex, and then fly back to Milan. I mean, it was really… my wife’s going to kill me.”
Towards the end of her story, Shimizu described that time of her life as “crazy and fun.”
Madonna isn’t the only high-profile woman Shimizu has had a romantic connection with. In 1997, she reportedly dated Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie, who she met on the set of the film Foxfire.
In an interview with Girlfriends magazine at the time, the Girl Interrupted star opened up about their intense connection, stating: “I probably would have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn’t married my husband [Jonny Lee Miller]. I fell in love with her the first second I saw her.”
While details about their time together have remained a mystery, Jolie did credit Shimizu for helping her discover her queerness during an interview with Rolling Stone.
“I realized that I was looking at [Shimizu] in a way that I had looked at men and it was great, and it was a discovery,” she revealed.
“It had never crossed my mind that I was going to one day experiment with or kiss a woman, it was never something I was looking for. I just happened to fall for a girl.”
All six episodes of In Vogue: The 90s are now streaming on Hulu.
