Drag Race All Stars 8 has produced another viral moment – and Monica Beverly Hillz is at the forefront.

On last week’s semi-final, the eliminated contestants (bar Heidi N Closet) ruturned to the competition to compete in a variety show to multiply their Fame Games fan vote total.

Monica – who sashayed away from All Stars 8 in last place – performed her original dance track ‘MBH is Back‘ to rave reviews from the panel for its catchiness and her fierce aesthetic.

Following the episode, the song trended on Twitter and was celebrated by Drag Race alumni such as Farrah Moan, Shea Couleé, Denali, Sminty Drop, Just May, Luxx Noir London, Jasmine Kennedie, Kahanna Montrese and Pangina Heals.

A few of the song’s lyrics – primarily “not a soul can clock” – were misunderstood by fans, which largely attributed to its virality. A majority of listeners heard “not a soaking clock” – and if you didn’t, you will now – resulting in the following hilarious memes:

Initially, Monica wasn’t on board with the lyrical confusion, tweeting: “Time to erase this Twitter I’m over all the negativity it’s draining! I can’t have one moment of joy.”

After Canada’s Drag Race contestant Miss Fiercalicious enquired about the origins of “not a soaking clock”, Monica also hit back: “If you wanted to know?! You could inbox me and ask instead of trying to be cute!”

Now, Monica is embracing and capitalising on the song’s online success – as! she! should! – with a new merchandise line.

“You all made me go viral for “MBH is Back”, and now I want to thank my supporters by announcing I may have special limited edition MERCH line coming SOON!” she tweeted, before telling fans to “keep an eye out” for news.

In response, Farrah Moan told Monica that ‘MBH is Back’ has “brightened” her week: “It’s hard to think about all the negative in the world when I can just dance around my apartment singing “not a soul can clock” – thank u for bringing this into the world.”

Willam said that she and Alaska “have been singing your song for 3 hours straight”, while Luxx Noir London expressed happiness over Monica “getting the respect and admiration” that she’s “always deserved”.
