Basketball star Brittney Griner and her wife Cherelle are headed toward divorce. 

On Thursday (30 July), the WNBA player filed the petition in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia – citing that their marriage "is irretrievably broken" and has "no hope of reconciliation," per The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
