You'd be forgiven for thinking that, because of the socio-political state of things and the intensifying strangulation of LGBTQIA+ rights globally, people were getting less fruity in the bedroom.
And yet, to all intents and purposes, many previously identifying heterosexual people are exploring their grey areas and the boundaries of their sexuality and desire.
In December 2025, dating app Feeld found a 196% increase in those labelling themselves as heteroflexible, suggesting that “straight-ish” was becoming the new mainstream.
