Jacob Tierney, showrunner of Heated Rivalry, has officially revealed that season two will begin filming in August, with an anticipated release in April 2027.
The creator, writer, director and executive producer of the MLM hockey series appeared with fellow EP Brendan Brady on CBS Mornings Thursday (26 February), telling viewers, “There will be more Heated Rivalry on your TVs, like, truly as soon as humanly possible.”
“Like the best parts of this show,” Brady added fans should “enjoy the yearn” of waiting for season two. Tierney also praised Crave, the Canadian streamer he previously collaborated with on Letterkenny (2016–2023) and Shoresey (2022–present), for giving him creative freedom on Heated Rivalry.
