Aurora Matrix has opened up about her romance with Heated Rivalry star Matthew Finlan. 

In an interview with Now Toronto, the Canada’s Drag Race alum revealed that she’s been dating the actor “on and off” for two years, describing their dynamic as “truly the best thing in the world”. 

Matrix said their shared experience as performers has helped make the relationship work, while their different creative worlds give them a healthy sense of balance.

“He’s also an actor, so he understands my world and the arts, but he’s not necessarily involved in the drag,” said Matrix. “So it’s a good little, like, you understand my world, but you’re not necessarily in my world, and it’s a great balance. I feel like it’s kind of the best thing and what I’ve been wanting my whole life.”
