White Rabbit Red Rabbit is a fascinating theatrical experiment with big name stars – review
It is very much a show for theatre fans – if you’re simply looking for an evening of easy-watching entertaining this probably isn’t the show for you.

It’s a little tricky to review a show like White Rabbit Red Rabbit, as we’re aware that the performance we saw will not be the same as the one you see, if you buy a ticket.
Here’s the premise: a different actor takes to the stage for each performance, and is handed a copy of the play text in a sealed envelope – the actor will not have seen the script until this point. With no rehearsal, and no director, the actor must interpret the text as they see fit, in realtime. On press night, Lucian Msamati took to the stage, although we saw the subsequent performance which starred the brilliant David Tennant. Over the coming months, various big name performers including Jodie Whitaker and David Harewood will feature in the show.
