The 2026 Video Music Awards are just around the corner, and many of our favorite LGBTQIA+ artists and allies have scored nominations.

Taking place live on 27 September at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, the upcoming ceremony will celebrate all of the artists "who's work during the last 12 months has pioneered the music industry and been the catalysts of global buzz."

Pop icon Madonna dominates this year's VMAs, earning a total of 11 nominations for her critically acclaimed 15th studio album Confessions II, its accompanying visuals Confessions II - The Film and her collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on 'Bring Me Your Love.'
