Last summer’s musical at the London Palladium – a revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita, starring Rachel Zegler – became an absolute runaway success: the balcony moment drew huge crowds of tourists throughout the summer, the show promptly sold out and a Broadway transfer was subsequently announced. Hoping to replicate similar levels of success, this summer sees another revival of one of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musicals – this time it’s Jesus Chris Superstar.
