The official Instagram account for Heated Rivalry has shared a first look at season two, giving fans a glimpse at the first day of filming.

Set to premiere in April 2027, the highly anticipated season will see Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie return as Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, with showrunner Jacob Tierney adapting The Long Game, the second ‘Hollanov’ novel in Rachel Reid’s beloved hockey romance series.

The direct sequel to Heated Rivalry, the book follows the duo as they finally commit to a relationship after years of keeping their complicated – and very steamy – romance a secret. The Long Game also explores the pressures of elite hockey, the burden of being a closeted athlete and the toll it takes on their mental health.

Season two is also expected to feature the return of Francois Arnaud as Scott Hunter, Robbie G.K. as Kip Grady, Christina Chang as Yuna Hollander, Dylan Walsh as David Hollander, Callan Potter as Hayden Pike, Matthew Finlan as Kyle Swift, Nadine Bhabha as Elena Rygg and Sophie Nelisse as Rose Landry.

Meanwhile, new additions to the cast include Justice Smith as Harris Dover, Charlie Gillespie as Troy Barrett, Emily Hampshire as Vanessa, Edvin Ryding as Luca Haas, Robert Naylor as Wyatt Hayes, Sabrina Jalees as Farah Jalali and Priyanka as Tarek.
