Ever since Heated Rivalry was confirmed to return for a second season, fans have been analysing every casting rumour (re: Jack Innanen), social media clue and behind-the-scenes updates for hints on what’s next for Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov.

The obsession is understandable. Since premiering last November, Jacob Tierney's adaptation of Rachel Reid's beloved Game Changers series has become a bona fide cultural phenomenon, earning rave reviews from critics and cultivating a dedicated global fanbase that includes famous faces such as Dua Lipa, Cynthia Erivo and Pedro Pascal.

As anticipation for season two continues to build, one rumoured casting has captured the attention of fans in particular: actor and model Abdalla Amour, who many believe could be set to play Fabian Salah, a beloved character from Reid's wider Game Changers universe.

The casting call reads: "Male, late 20s/early 30s. Lebanese-descent, androgynous, lean, and lithe. Magnetic and self-assured. Talented violinist/songwriter, who hates hockey and still harbours feelings for his teenage crush."
