BREAKING: MLM HOCKEY ROMANCE NEWS INCOMING!

The Heated Rivalry season two news the whole fandom has been waiting for is officially here: Ryan and Fabian have finally been cast! 

On 25 August, Crave Canada revealed that Daniel Diemer will play Ryan Price, while Shaheen Jafargholi will take on the role of Fabian Salah – the leads of Tough Guy, the third novel in Rachel Reid’s beloved Game Changers series.

Diemer is best known for his role as Paul in the Netflix film The Half of It (2020) and as Tyson in the Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2023–present). Jafargholi rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent, where he finished seventh, before going on to appear in the comedy slasher series Wreck (2023) and the queer drama Lost Boys and Fairies (2024).

Reid herself welcomed Diemer and Jafargholi to the Game Changers family, affectionately describing them as her “big sad son” and “rockstar son”.
