We’re not sure there’s really much we can say about the National Theatre’s production of War Horse that hasn’t been said before. Based on Michael Morpurgo’s beloved children’s novel, and adapted by Nick Stafford, this production debuted at the National Theatre back in 2007. It subsequently enjoyed hugely successful West End and Broadway transfers, picking up two Olivier Awards and five Tony Awards respectively, and has toured all over the world.
