A Midsummer Night’s Dream sadly falls flat at the Open Air Theatre – review

All in all it’s just a bit disappointing.
We’re big fans of the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park – there’s something magical about watching live theatre unfold against the backdrop of the park, as the sun slowly sets on a summer’s evening. While the recent heat may not be ideal in all settings, it’s very welcome here. There’s usually a Shakespeare play as part of this theatre’s season, and this summer sees the return of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. So how does this production fare?
