There's a new bunny girl in town, and she's breaking all the rules. But are they the right ones?

Cara Delevingne is Playboy's newest cover star, donning the iconic Bunny Suit, which hasn't featured on the cover in over a decade since supermodel Kate Moss's appearance in 2014.

Delevingne marks a new direction for Playboy, one that embraces all forms of sexuality and desire. On paper, this is a welcome shift away from the magazine's murky and pervy past.

This comeback is reportedly a concerted effort to move away from the magazine's heterocentrism and male gaze of old. No easy feat, particularly during a time where the "sex recession" and reports of heightened pornography use are leaving the magazine's largely heterosexual cis-male audience in a shame-spiral-fuelled crisis.
